pamela love – talon cuff

photo compliments of pamelalovenyc.com

Although I  doubt that this stunning talon cuff by Pamela Love would even fit around my not-so-delicate wrists, I want one (…or two…or three) anyway.

The perfect, somewhat freakish, accessory that would bring a little somethin’ somethin’ to your everyday – at work or at play – look.

a belated merry christmas to you too!

I know, I know – I do suck. But I do hope everyone that even cares to read this post en retard had an ever so very, fantastically Merry, Christmas this year.

Now NYE is just around the corner. Maybe I’ll wish everyone a Happy New Year sometime in mid January. Early February the latest. I promise.

Can you guess where I went this (Canadian) Thanksgiving?

I made a long overdue visit (and this is a long overdue post) to one of my best friends in this universe, Linds, to her adopted city for the past 6 years.

It. Was. Amazing.

When announcing my Thanksgiving long-weekend destination, I received a mélange of puzzled looks and gasps of shock. Detroit is nothing like “they” said it would be. It was more. Through the “rot and decay”, its beauty and potential reigning glory shone through.

Don’t believe me? Visit the place yourself. Or better yet, take a look at this mini 3-part documentary with Johnny Knoxville: Detroit Lives. Or take a peek at some of the shots I took below.

Detroit highlights:

  1. Seeing my best friend
  2. Painting a dot on the polka-dot house to get Tyree Guyton’s picture [The Heidelberg Project] – Stay tuned for my pictures of this…brace yourself
  3. Michigan Central Station

So I have been missing in action for all of November. Lame. I know.
Currently, some changes are happening…for the good…I hope…I plan on gaining my footing this month and will be posting more on the regular. So please, bear with me.

This blog will probably never turn out the way I’d like it to be…if only I could figure out what that is first…
It will be an ongoing, ever-changing, long and potentially weary process. But, boy-oh-boy,  is it ever something to look forward to.

On that note, stay tuned and thanks for caring.
