NYFW – 3.1 phillip lim

I really liked the bows, use of colour and draping for this collection. I don’t need to comment anymore than that, the collection speaks for itself. Oh, to one day dawn these fabulous clothes…sigh. Click on the photos to enlarge. All images compliments of style.com

NYFW – dennis basso

Everyone was tweeting about him, thought I’d check it out. LOVE IT. Comfortably glamorous – I thought that was an oxymoron. I’ll be keeping an eye out from now on! Click on photo to enlarge. All images compliments of style.com.

NYFW – prabal gurung

I loved the edgy, romanticism in this collection. The greys, reds and touches of pink were a departure from this seasons darker colours. Once again, lace. Designers couldn’t get enough this season! Click on the photos to enlarge. All images compliments of style.com.

NYFW – marc jacobs

This collection was much more couture-esque than others. Some may question its ready-to-wear-ness, but I loved it just the same. Polka-dots, lace and sequins, oh my!

The longer silhouette seems to be a recurring trend this season and perhaps for seasons to come? Gone are the days of exposed thighs and hiking hemlines? Or maybe I’m just getting older. Or maybe because it’s the fall collections? Yeah, that’s it.
